Taking Care of your Cake!
We make sure to crate your cake with the proper support in place and in pristine condition, but we cannot be held responsible for any damages that may occur after it leaves the bakery. We suggest bringing a friend to help pick up larger cakes, the person or party picking up the cake will be required to sign off that everything has been made to the clients liking and you’re satisfied with the product.
Once the cake leaves our hands there will be NO CHANGES made to the product. Cakes are fragile and require care during transport. We always box our cakes with care and recommend you transport them in a car with Air Conditioning and on a flat surface like the floorboard of your car. Drive VERY CAREFULLY with the cake is in the car. It is your responsibility to get your cake home safely and in one piece. We are NOT responsible for damages that may occur in transport.
Our cakes also require care once they reach their final destination. We recommend putting the cake in the refrigerator for safe keeping once you have reached your event. Because the cakes are iced with real buttercream, they harden in the refrigerator, so we recommend bringing single tier cakes out of the refrigerator 2-3 hours before serving. And multi tier cakes out 3-4 hours before serving to allow them to get to room temperature. They taste BEST this way! If these instructions are not followed, the cake might be too cold when served and this can be misconstrued for dry cake. However, if the cake sits out all day at room temperature or outside in the heat, the buttercream begins to melt and sag. The cake will then no longer be pristine for your event.
